Energy Always Finds A Way

This is more of a personal blog than anything, but I wanted to share because I know I need to write about it as a reminder to myself as well as others how powerful energy is and how we tend to doubt or neglect it.

I’m sitting outside right now, getting some fresh air and soaking in the events of today. It was a good day.

I’ve been contemplating and meditating the past couple of days on taking an opportunity to become Reiki III/Master certified. This opportunity was brought up to me through my new workplace. I’ve been taking in the senses and signs, but today was the biggest sign of them all…

I am hanging out at my new work location for the first time- to settle in, set up, and plant my energy and presence there. The owner, who is a fellow massage therapist as well as a psychic/tarot reader had quite a few readings today, including one for a new client at the end of the day. While they were in session, all of the sudden my heart started racing and I didn’t know why. At first I thought it was because I needed to eat or maybe drink more water. My energy was rampant. Soon I heard uncontrollable crying coming from their room. I knew I needed to smudge (burn sage) to tame the energy, and thankfully I grabbed my sage from home this morning. I start smudging and marking good energy with Reiki throughout the place. Soon my heart slowed down and I felt at ease again.

When they came out of the room the client was still really shook up and sobbing and her energy was intense. She was so thankful for her reading and the owner advised her to take deep breaths and to take some sage with her to burn at home around her to soothe her spirit.

After the client left, the owner took some deep sighs then gave me a little insight. She had gotten a presence of the client’s child’s father who had passed away and it really shook up the client. I told her I felt that crazy energy and that my heart started pounding so I burned some sage.

Right there I knew that I can really pick up the energy and I am tune with it if I allow myself to. The environment I was in today helped me with that and it gave me the answer I needed.

As of Sunday, October 4th, I will become a certified Reiki Master.
